| 内容記述 | Although the economic data provided by Shiga Prefecture as a statistical collection are useful, I feel a discrepancy between simply providing these data and the assessment and forecast of the economic conditions in Shiga Prefecture. On the other hand, the voice of residents asking for an assessment of the economy in Shiga Prefecture is strong. Therefore, while deepening the diagnosis of the economy, it is also important to offer the information of the business condition index intelligible to people of the prefecture. Shiga Diffusion Indexes (SDI) and Shiga Composite Indexes (SCI), which I proposed in this paper, can contribute to this demand. These indices point out two things: (1) a time lag of about two quarters of the national business situation, and (2) more stable change in the business conditions in Shiga Prefecture compared with the national business situation. |
