A type of motivic L functions, those of elliptic curves, is particularly considered. I introduce Congruence Number Problem and the conjectural relation of this problem with L functions of associated elliptic curves. Then I give examples of integers which are congruence numbers up to Birrch-Swinnerton-Dyer conjecture.
