| 内容記述 | To understand the implications of financial dynamic movement in recent years deeply, it is essential to go back to the study on the nature of money. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the nature of government note in comparison with inconvertible central bank note. Government note has quite different nature from central bank note in following points. (1) Whether the issue of note is done through financial transaction (credit-debt relation) or not. (2) Whether the issue of note is exogenous or endogenous. (3) Whether the issue of note is done by executive power or business act. The issue of government note means to go against the principle of credit money and against the monetary history. Moreover, the practical way to issue government note is examined and its consequence is revealed in this paper. In addition, “seigniorage” in currency issue and “helicopter money”policy are examined. |
